Why this tune?
I was determined to write a new song for this week’s Tunes On Tuesday, but ran into a problem. I couldn’t come up with an idea for a song. I tried starting with a couple of
phrases I had in my notebook, but they were not sparking any good ideas. That left one more option, turning that lack of ideas into an idea in itself.
After that decision, it didn’t take long to write this short song about expressing yourself even when you have nothing to express.
What do you think – is this long enough for a “real” song, or does it need more
lyrics (or music) to turn it into a complete work?
