Songs for Spring (despite the weather)

As we go into the 15th straight day of rain (and mostly below-average temperatures) in the DC area, it’s hard to believe that it’s actually spring. In our last show at Bistrot Lepic, though, we sang songs for spring despite the weather. Perhaps spring-like thoughts can bring on the warm and sunny.

Here are two songs from our April 27 show, featuring Barbara Papendorp with me on piano and Percy White on bass. Enjoy!

Love All Year on video

To celebrate the holidays and the release of the holiday album from Aaron Myers, Snowing In Vegas, here’s a video for Aaron’s new holiday song “Love All Year.”

I listened to this tens of times while making the video, and it just doesn’t get old. It’s a beautiful song that I hope will take its rightful place in the library of American holiday classics.

Enjoy!
