Here’s my gig schedule for August, including a trio on Aug. 25 at a new (for me) venue, Acacia in NW DC near Van Ness
Happy New Year! I just sent out my list of performances for January 2018 to the mailing list. I also posted a new video for my song “Snow Day” (perfect for this “bomb cyclone” week we’re experiencing in the US Northeast). Hope you enjoy it.
Here’s my performance schedule for November 2016: playing for both the DC Jazz Singers jam (Nov 6) and the DC Jazz Jam with guest artist Elijah Balbed (Nov 13). I’m then back at Bistrot Lepic on Nov. 30 with Barbara Papendorp and Daniel Brown.
Just in time for the holidays, the new CD of Aaron Myers’ holiday album “Snowing In Vegas.” We released the digital album last year, and produced real CDs this year for your listening and gifting pleasure. You can order the CD on this site.
Here’s my update for May 2016, which will be a very busy month for music. I have seven events on the schedule, including three shows (in three places) with Barbara Papendorp, a couple of jam sessions, and another exciting show with Aaron Myers. All that and the Funk Parade with the Lucky So & So’s!
Here’s my newest original song, “When The Morning Comes,” which I’ve had the pleasure of performing a couple of times with Barbara. This is from our premiere performance at Bistrot Lepic in March.
Looking forward to joining Barbara Papendorp for her “Ladies In Jazz” night at Mr. Henry’s on Capitol Hill. We’ll be singing songs for the season, including my musical tribute to Arbor Day (one of many holidays that needs more songs):
Here’s my performance update for February 2016. As I noted in the update, I was honored this month to contribute a musical theme for Darwyn Dave’s new podcast “Dealing With My Grief.” Darwyn is a talented photographer who is actively documenting the DC jazz scene. I’ve benefited from many performance photos he has produced, and was more than happy to return the favor with this short composition:
This is my updated performance schedule for July, 2015. I look forward to seeing you at one or more of these events.

In the meantime, best wishes for a happy Christmas and healthy new year.
I’ll be playing piano behind the fine vocalist Jeff Weintraub tonight (October 16), 8-11 pm, in a duo set at the Black Fox Lounge in Dupont Circle. We’ll be upstairs in the front window, performing a variety of old and new standards and not-so-standards.
Here’s an example of Jeff’s work; this one’s on our set list for tonight:
